Vikings Club Basketball

About Vikings Basketball Program:
The Vikings Basketball Club is an organization dedicated to the development of student athletes under the age of 17 for National basketball competition through a rigorous athletic training program. The student athletes in our organization receive quality training, which allows our student athletes to compete on a premier level.

College Recruiting:
During the NCAA’s spring and summer viewing periods the Vikings Club teams travel throughout the country to participate in prestigious tournaments viewed by hundreds of college coaches at every level (DI, DII, DIII, Ivy League and NAIA). In the summer, the Vikings traditionally participate in the Oregon Exposure Tournament. Our Student athletes compete against the top players across the country.

Vikings Commitment:
Commitment to excellence by Vikings Basketball directors, coaching staff and its student athletes. Effective communication and organization (on time practices, advance announcements of game schedules, travel arrangements/accommodations, and clearly stated financial obligations with accurate records). Opportunity to play with and against the best in the country.

Vikings Basketball History:
The Vikings Basketball Program was formerly the Simi Swoosh. The Vikings Basketball Teams practice in Simi Valley and players typically come from northern LA county and Ventura County. The program has demonstrated local and national credibility with the high school basketball community for honesty, integrity and a continued tradition of producing stellar student athletes. The program's reputation has been earned through hard work and dedication to the principles for which this program stands. Each Vikings player will receive their fair share of playing time and a commitment from the Vikings organization to help each athlete achieve their goals.

What the Vikings Expects of You:
The Vikings Basketball Club requires athletes to be dedicated to their game as well as dedicated to their academics, which means that each player must be academically qualified to play for the Vikings. Parents are expected to provide the necessary support to ensure his or her daughter’s success as a Vikings player. Parents must ensure that athletes attend every practice and are on time. Parents must meet their financial obligations in a timely manner. As with our athletes, parents are expected to demonstrate good character and integrity in their actions. Negative criticism will not be tolerated. The Vikings maintain a positive environment for its staff, athletes and their families.
